Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is thanking God for journey mercies after a turbulent flight experience, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that the “Assurance” crooner on Saturday, announced that he and others survived what might have resulted in a plane crash on his IG page.
According to the father of two, he repented ten times during the flight as he feared he would die.
Igbere TV gathered that Davido is currently in the United States, a position the artiste confirmed to be true by posting the update from John F Kennedy International Airport as current location.
“Omo this pilot no try!! See shaking of plane for almost 14 hours straight. I don repent like 10 times for flight! Thank God we have arrived safe,” he wrote.
The news of his flight experience came same day he became the first Nigerian with 10 million followers on Instagram.
The 26-year-old artiste had set such record of firsts previously.
He was the first Nigerian artiste to reach 1 million, 2 million, 5 million and 9 million followers on Instagram.
Igbere TV reports that Davido’s 2017 hit song, “Fall” became the first Nigerian music video to hit 100 million views on YouTube.
