The senator elect for All Progressives congress (APC) in Abia North Senatorial district, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has vowed to fight in the red chambers of the National Assembly for the overall interest and development of Igboland . IGBERE TV reports.
IGBERE TV reports that Kalu made this known on Thursday at the International Conference Centre Abuja shortly after he was issued a Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Addressing, friends, family ,business and political associates & other well wishers in Abuja ,Kalu said: “The journey towards qualitative & quantitative representation begins. By the grace of God & with your support I will be the voice of Ndigbo & Nigerians at large.
“Whenever issues concerning Igbos are discussed, I will tried my best to ensure that the interest of my people is fully represented.
He gave assurances that he will effectively represent the good people of Abia North Senatorial district till 2023.
