The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended the ongoing electoral processes in the just concluded Rivers State governorship and house of assembly election, Igbere TV reports.
In a statement issued by Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, and obtained by Igbere TV, the commission cited widespread irregularities and violence as reasons for the suspension.
