Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has lost the Abia State government house polling unit, Library avenue in Umuahia to the opposition politial party in Saturday’s governorship and state house of assembly election, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that Ikpeazu lost to the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Uche Ogah.
In the final result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Uche polled 88 votes to defeat Ikpeazu who had 37 votes, while All Progressive Grand Alliance’s Allex Otti came third with 24 votes.
Igbere TV gathered that final results of only 4 out of 17 local government areas have been declared so far by INEC. While the APC is leading with 3 LGAs, PDP leads with 1, as at press time.
