Panic In Rivers As Battle-Ready Soldiers Patrol Town Few Hours To Election (PHOTOS)
Residence of Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital have been gripped with fear and anxiety over the much military presence in the region.
IGBERE TV gathered that Gun-wielding soldiers (armed to the teeth), have been patrolling the metropolis for some days now in a show of force ahead of the governorship election on Saturday, March 9th.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers – has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of trying to militarize the state in order to ‘easily manipulate the outcome of the governorship election to their favour’.
The latest show of force which happened today is coming days after soldiers allegedly raided some night clubs/joints in Port-Harcourt during their patrol.
