Report reaching Igbere TV news desk right now is that there are on going thumbprinting of ballot papers in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
Pdp it This is coming barely 3 days to the March 9 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in the state.
Sources told Igbere TV specifically that the ballot papers are being thumb printed in the home of one Chief Greg Ibe, in Isuikwuato Local Government.
Chief Ibe is a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia state.
Igbere TV reliably gathered that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, began the distribution of sensitive and non-sensitive materials across the country on Tuesday.
The source who doesn’t want his name mentioned in this report, further alleged that the thumbprinting exercise is also being carried out in Aba North LGA, and will be repeated in the homes of several chieftains of the party across the state.
He also revealed that workers in the local government have been asked to come to work tomorrow inbIsuikwuato LGA with their respective Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
Meanwhile, it has been further alleged that the major mandate of the newly appointed Transition Chairman of Isuikwuato Local Government is to ensure PDP’s victory in the council at all cost.
The source, however, revealed that the people of the locality have vowed to resist the move.
