The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday suspended governors Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha of Ogun and Imo states respectively, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV gathered that the NWC led by former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole further recommended the expulsion of the duo from the party.
Reasons for their suspension and recommendation for expulsion were still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
However, it may not be unconnected with their alleged anti-party activities.
Igbere TV recalls that both governors have thrown their weights behind the gubernatorial aspirations of candidates other than APCβs.
