Afraid of ending like Sen. Bukola Saraki, Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has reportedly begged the ruling All Progressives Congeess (APC) for forgiveness, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV gathered that Gov Tambuwal has paid a visit to the APC leader in Sokoto, Aliyu Wammakko, begging for forgiveness.
Tambuwal who dumped the ruling party sometime in 2018 for a shot at the presidency under the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lost to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The APC via their verified Twitter handle @APCUKingdom on Thursday, shared a photo of Tambuwal bending to greet Wammakko, as he allegedly begged to be forgiven – saying he was misled.
“Forgive me, I was misled,” the tweet reads.
