The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Wednesday declared President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), winner of Saturday’s presidential election, Igberetvnews reports.
Buhari polled a total of 15,191,847 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got a total of 11,262,978 votes.
Felix Nicholas of the Peoples Coalition Party (PCP) came a distant third with a total of 110,196 votes.
