President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has defeated his main challenger, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presidential election in Kebbi state, Igberetvnews reports.
Buhari polled a total of 581,552 votes to defeat Atiku who got 154,282 votes.
The Returning Officer for the state, Professor Armu Yau Hamisu Bichi, said a total of 803,755 were cast in the election while valid votes were 756,605 and rejected votes were 47,150, Igberetvnews learnt.
Buhari won in all the 21 local government areas of Kebbi state, according to Prof. Bichi.
