The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has garnered 356,817 votes to defeat incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the presidential election in Benue state, Igberetvnews reports.
Buhari polled a total of 347,668 votes out of 763,872 of the total votes cast.
Elections were cancelled in 16 of the local governments with 172 polling units affected. Registered voters in those places were 122,989.
