Obong Nsima Ekere, the governorship candidate for All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, has lost the presidential election in his native Ikot Abasi local government area with his party polling only 5,710 against the PDP which polled a total 8,355 votes, Igbere TV has learnt.
Igbere TV gathered that his PDP counterpart, Gov. Udoma Emmanuel has won in his Onna local government with a total votes of 21,790 as against the APC with 1,850 votes.
The presidential election results are currently being read at the INEC headquarters, Uyo.
