Reports reaching us has it that the speaker of the house of representatives, Yakubu Dogara is heading to the green chamber for the fourth time having won his reelection bid, Igberetvnews reports
Released results from the Zwall collation centre of Dass/Tafawa-Balewa /Bogoro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State indicates that Dogara of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 72,334 votes against his main challenger, Dalhatu Abubakar Kantana of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 51,554 votes.
As at the time of this report only a total of about 600 votes were outstanding from Kopti unit where elections did not hold on Saturday due to faulty card reader. INEC was yet to make an official pronouncement on the next line of action to be taken for the unit.
