The Katsina State Police Command has arrested a notorious trans border Indian Hemp trafficker.
Isah Gambo, spokesperson for the command, who confirmed the arrest on Wednesday, said that on Sunday, February 17, based on a tip off,
Police patrol team at Fago Checking Point, Sandamu LGA of the state, arrested 24-year-old Sani Sanusi, of Kwangwalom village, Maiadu’a LGA of Katsina state in possession of 26 sealed parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp while on transit to Niger Republic.
In the course of investigation suspect confessed to have specializes in trans-border Indian hemp trafficking across the borders of Nigeria and Niger Republic. Investigation is ongoing, please.
