Following the postponement of the general elections, Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has revealed that INEC lied about the weather being bad to move materials.
Igbere TV recalls that INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood disclosed that the presidential and National Assembly elections were postponed over bad weather which affected flight operations.
However reacting to this via Twitter, Minister of State for Aviation who insinuated that INEC lied about weather, wrote;
“INEC should say something else as weather was good for flight operations on the eve of elections, similarly all airports were directed to open 24 hours during the election period.”
