Biafra: IPOB Leader Sheds More Light on Election Boycott Suspension

A leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has shed more light concerning the calling off the election boycott on Thursday.

In a statement sent to Igbere TV by Emeka Gift, an IPOB Leader, the group said the power to vote or not to vote is entirely a personal decision.

Nnamdi Kanu

He urged IPOB members not to be distracted by some fools that will still question their reasons for restoring Biafra if it it eventually comes.

According to him,

“IPOB lifted election boycott ban because our terms and conditions have been met according to IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB directorate of states. The power to vote or not to vote is entirely your personal decision. IPOB is not asking anyone to vote or not to vote, that decision is yours.”

“Some will ask what are the conditions met, yes you have every right to ask such question . IPOB leadership will issue a press statement on that regard. All we need is to wait and follow directives .”

“Never allow yourself to be distracted by some fools that will still question us why do we restore Biafra if eventually we succeeded in restoring Biafra. There will be no decision taken by IPOB that these enemies will not question, their aims and objectives is confuse you so that you will turn to rebel like them.”

“The fact is that IPOB initiated election boycott for a reason and now that our reason/ demands for election boycott have been met we have every right to call it off and enter another stage. What happened yesterday is a victory to our struggle.”

“I encourage all to wait for more clarification from IPOB leadership.”
