A Federal High Court in Awka, Anambra State, has invalidate Mrs. Margery Chuba-Okadigbo as the candidate of APC in Anambra North Senatorial District, Igbere Tv reports.
Igbere Tv learnt that at the hearing on Tuesday, February 12th presiding Justice I. B. Gafai, announced Mr Onubogu Nelson as the legitimate candidate.
Barrister Tochukwu Nweke, Counsel to Onubogu had argued that Okadigbo was wrongly nominated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) because she did not contest the election.
Tochukwu Nweke further argued that Onubogu who was the only aspirant at the primary election must be declared the candidate.
