Social media users have continued to react to the violent carried out at Ogun state All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally where President Buhari and other top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were booed ans stoned while on stage during the campaign rally in the state, Igbere Tv reports.
However, some Nigerians are accusing that Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun should be blamed for the violence carried out by the crowds in the state, yesterday.
Some also claim that the Governor, Amosun of gave his political thugs sign to attack President Muhammadu Buhari, Adams Oshiomole and others top politicians in the party.
According to a Twitter user, @Ikechuk91746096, he wrote:
“Review the video and u will see where Amosun was gearing his supporters not to stop their booing!”
Another users, @OsikoBolu went extensively to talk about the ugly incident and insinuated that Governor Ibikunle Amosun gave his boys signal to attack.
“Most people don’t the truth about APC Ogun state presidential campaign.
The havoc, and stoning was all plans of the incumbent governor Amosun”
“Amosun created a new party when his preferred candidate lost the APC primaries to the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate abd oil mogul, Dapo Abiodun
Amosun created Allied People Movement (APM) for his preferred candidate, Adekunle Akinlade as the governorship candidate of the party.
APM adopted Buhari at the Presidential level.””Former governor of Ogun State took Dapo Abiodun to PMB in Aso Rock while Amosun also took Akinlade to Aso Rock.
Amosun however threatened APC supporters who doesn’t support Akinlade to extent of sacking Ogun waterside LG Chairman”
“However earlier today at MKO Stadium in Abeokuta, APM thugs allegedly drove away APC supporters from the venue with weapons which APC supporters had to scale the fence to escapeand filled the stadium with APM supporters”
