Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has revealed that she cannot act nude in a movie even if offered $5million. She made this known in an interview with Asempa FM where she further disclosed that she disagrees with people who think money is everything in life. Yvonne Nelson revealed: “Oh no I won’t. This time it is even crazier because I have a child. I will never act nude because I want to serve a good example. The money is cool but no. The act is going to be there forever and I wouldn’t want to do that.”
Yvonne Nelson is the baby mama of British photographer Jamie Roberts, They both have a daughter named Ryan Roberts. The actress recently opened up on her relationship status stating hat she has broken up with her baby and now in search of a new relationship. The Ghanaian screen diva had earlier said she needed a Ghanaian man for a date. She had made a point of saying this during a popular celebrity cooking show. As a result of her words, a lot of ‘kasala’ has burst. According to the actress, she was no longer with her British baby daddy Jamie Roberts. She disclosed that they were only co-parenting and taking care of their daughter Ryn the best way they could.
However, days after declaring that she was single and needed a man in her life, Yvonne said no Ghanaian man had proposed to her yet. According to her, the men lacked confidence in approaching her, for which reason she was still single. She was not pleased that several men in Ghana lacked the boldness to propose to her. In expressing their views on the matter, some social media users who commented on the Facebook page of a Ghanaian media house called Yen.com.gh have refuted Yvonne’s claim that Ghanaian men lacked confidence in proposing to her. The fans have given their own reasons why she is still single, with some of them blaming Yvonne for shunning Ghanaian men in her hay days and going after Nigerian men and those of other nationalities.
Recall that the beautiful actress and mother of one made this known during a live show with her fellow actors, Yvonne Okoro and John Dumelo. Yvonne Okoro had asked her namesake Yvonne Nelson about her recent post on social media where she revealed she was in search of a male date. “No one reached out to me…maybe they don’t believe me… I am looking for one. Yvonne get me one. I don’t mind,” Yvonne Nelson replied which was greeted by laughter from John Dumelo.
