Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday met behind closed door with the Chairman of the Independent National
Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmud Yakub, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. It was not clear whether discussions at the meeting only bordered on the Saturday governorship election in Anambra.
At the end of the meeting, efforts to speak with Yakub on the updates of the Saturday governorship election in Anambra failed. He refused to meet with journalists as he waited for the area to be cleared of journalists before finding his way out of the Vice President’s office.
