An Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital has stayed the execution of a high court’s ruling barring the All Progressives Congress(APC) from fielding candidates in the forthcoming general elections, Igberetvnews reports.
The appellant court granted an appeal filed by the APC to stay the execution of the judgment of the Federal High Court delivered by Justice Kolawole Omotosho, Igberetvnews has learnt.
Reading the ruling , Mohammed Mustapha stated that all parties affected by Justice Omotosho β s judgement have appealed it, therefore , it will be unjust not to grant the application to stay execution of the ruling .
