Supporters of two governorship contenders of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Cross River state clashed at the UJ Esuene stadium in Calabar on Wednesday even as President Muhammadu Buhari made way into the venue for his presidential rally, Igberetvnews reports.
Supporters of both Senator John Owan-Enoh and Minister of Niger Delta Usani Usani used planks of wood and other dangerous weapons to attack themselves.
Igberetvnews learnt that at least two supporters of the Owan-Enoh faction were fatally injured as the attacks raged on.
