2019 :“I Pity My Brother MAO” - Orji Kalu Weeps

The Senatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, for Abia North, has blasted Senator Mao Ohuabunwa over false accusation that he (Kalu) embezzled money meant for the maintenance of the Isuikwuato-Uturu road erosion.

Igbere TV reports that Kalu described the accusation as a fallacy.

Orji Uzor Kalu

Speaking with journalists, the APC Abia North Senatorial Candidate said “when I was the governor, there was only one erosion in Emma Nwaka’s house and we took care of it. There was no erosion on that road because we never allowed it. I maintained University gate to Akara like I maintained Umuahia to Ohafia. Those roads are states roads and I maintained them throughout my stay as governor.”

“It’s a naked fallacy. A lie that never happened. I pity my brother Mao because the reality is facing with him now because he knows the election will be counted by the people of Abia North”.

Kalu who described himself as a strong voice said Ndigbo and Nigeria have a lot to benefit if he is elected into the senate in the areas of addressing education, agriculture, commerce, infrastructure. He vowed to contribute his quota in helping whoever emerges the president actualize his goals in line with making the lives of Nigerians more meaningful.

“I’m not going to be a Senator for Abia North alone but a Senator for all Nigerians because I will be a Senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria. I’m going to put back my energy that will support the President in job creation for the youths. We’re going to bring a new revolution on palm oil production. You will see what I will do. They’re on the kits. Allow me to get to the Senate first. To begin with, all the five local governments in Abia North will be a major plantation area. All states especially those in South East and South South will be major plantation areas” he said.

He stated that he will put in place a policy where job creation through agriculture will be his major focus in the Senate, adding that he did it while a governor. He pledged that he will not be a fighting Senator but a problem-solving Senator.

Kalu also urged people to come out en mass to vote for president Buhari and other APC candidates.
