A House Of Representatives Candidate of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso today surprised a lot of people as he arrived at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bende, to worship.
Igbere TV reports that Anyaso arrived with adequate communication aids such as speakers and microphones which he donated to the church.
Igbere TV gathered that before his arrival, the Church had no adequate communication aids such as speakers and microphones and the priest had to strain his voice and shout out loud in order to communicate with the congregation due to their faulty generator.
However, upon his arrival, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond provided a mobile speaker and microphone to help out. This brought total happiness and joy to the congregation and they were filled with praise songs for him. Women danced and sang their songs of praises to God for providing an immediate assistance to them at the right time by The Man of the Moment.
The ever Humble Ofuji Ndi Igbo didn’t hesitate to walk around the church to greet, share handshakes and hugs, as well as converse one on one with most members of the congregation; especially children.
On a very important note, while speaking to members of the congregation, CDA promised to train 5 youths from the church who are in dire need of a scholarship to further their educational pursuit.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Polycarp Chukwu in his remarks, thanked the People’s Politician and promised him the prayers of the church as well as God’s grace and support at the forth coming elections.
He also encouraged members of the congregation who are eligible to vote to come out en masse to vote for the People’s Choice: the right man who has the interest of the people of Bende at heart.
