The House of Representatives Candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Dr. Chima Anyaso has given motorcycle to Igbere Vigilante group.
Igbere TV gathered that the Motorcycle was given in order to facilitate goodwill and the best security in Bende Federal Constituency.
Insecurity as it is, includes as one of the paramount challenges faced by communities in Bende.
The Chima Anyaso campaign organization handed the motorcycle to the Igbere vigilante group today in Bende. Headed by top members of the campaign group in the persons of Chief Uche Dimgba (Okpotemba) Chief Jerry Kalu (Oshimiri) the motorcycle was giving on their behalf to the National President Igbere Welfare Union, Elder Uwakwe Okoronkwo in Igbere today.
The motorcycle was a gesture of commitment to indigenes of the community that their security is one of the top concerns in his agenda for Bende.
Dr Chima Anyaso went forward to promise that after his victory come February elections, that he would give out buses to the vigilante groups in Bende and also secure a better work relations between them and the Nigerian Police Force.
Dr Chima Desmond Anyaso also pleaded with the vigilante to try their best to ensure that the indigenes of Bende are safe especially during the elections as perpetrators of various societal vices might want to use this period as a leverage to cause violence in the Bende Constituency.
Elder Okoronkwo while receiving the motorcycle thanked Dr Chima Desmond Anyaso for his good efforts in Bende and promised to make sure the vigilante group continue in their high standard of exhibiting a bold and fearless front in tackling crime prior and during the elections.
