SHOCKER!!! Man Runs Mad , Kills Two Sons, Wife, Seven Others in Ebonyi

The residents of Nkaliki in Ebonyi State have been left in shock after a 35-year-old man, Simon Ugbala, suspected to be mad, allegedly killed his two sons, wife and seven others.

Igbere TV gathered that the suspect used cutlass to cut off major parts of the victims.

According to report, Ugbala reportedly killed the family members at eve of Monday and ran to a nearby community and killed another two in the early hours of Tuesday.

As at press time, several persons received machete cuts from the suspect and currently receiving treatment at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki.

When contacted, the police public relation officer, Ebonyi state command, ASP Loveth Odah, confirmed the incident.

“On 21st January, 2019 at about 2pm, a councillor from Ebonyi Local Government Area representing Onyikwa ward, Mr Friday Nwigube, came to B Division Kpirikpiri and reported that on the same day, one Ogbala Simon of 35 years, suspected insane man, was going about inflicting machete cuts on people.

“A combined team of detectives rushed to the village where they found several persons with deep machete cuts. They were rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki where the victims, seven of them, were confirmed dead by a medical doctor. Four others were still receiving treatment but on critical condition,” she said.

As at the time of writing this report, the suspect has not been caught.
