According to reports gathered by Igbere TV newsmen, the chairman of Gwer West Local Government council in Benue, Francis Ayagah, came under fire for mistakenly shouting APC at a PDP rally organised by Governor Samuel Ortom’s wife, Eunice, for the reelection of the governor in the local government area.
Igbere Tv reporters learnt that Ayagah was elected chairman on the platform of the APC. He defected in the new political realignment in Benue to the PDP.
But while the chairman mounted the podium to address the rally, he shouted Aaaaaa Peeeee Ceeeee (APC) two times.There was no response from the PDP supporters, who felt embarrassed.
But for the fact that the wife of the governor hails from the local government area, PDP elders in the area did not take it likely.
Ayagha was summoned before the PDP elders to explain the error. He was however found kneeling down before elders. But Igbere Tv could not tell if he was forced to kneel down or not.
