According to reports, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member was allegedly gunned down by another PDP faction in the constituency at the early hours of Saturday, January 19th (yesterday).
The deceased was reportedly shot and left in the pool of his blood. He died before he could be rushed to the hospital, according to witnesses.
The victim has since been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
