The minority leader and member representing Bende South in Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Chibuzo Okogbuo has promised the former governor of the state and APC Abia North senatorial candidate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu that no indigene of Nkpa community will vote any other party aside the APC in the forthcoming general elections, Igbere TV reports.
Okogbuo stated this on Thursday during the Ward to Ward tour of Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu in Nkpa community, Bende local government area of Abia State. The tour was closely monitored by Igbere TV correspondent.
He said the people of Nkpa are forever grateful to the former governor for attracting the ongoing road projects in the community and for the schools, free education policy, as well as other projects he completed while he was governor.
“Because of these, I make bold to say that Nkpa people are for the APC. No vote from this community will leave the APC in the forthcoming elections,” Okogbuo added.
He thanked the former governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu for his numerous contributions to Nkpa community, “despite the fact that he has not been in government for the past 12 years.”
