Following the accusations against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Samuel Onnoghen, at least twenty Senior Advocates Of Nigeria have been sighted at the code of conduct Tribunal (CCT).
IGBERE TV gathered that among the Senior lawyers already in court are: Wole Olanipekun, Adegboyega Awomolo, Kanu Agabi, Chris Uche, Yusuf Ali, Garba Tetengi, Effiong Offiong and Kehinde Ogunwumiji.
Others are Paul Erokoro, Tawo Tawo, Victoria Awomolo, Sebastine Hon and Chukwuma-machukwu Ume among others.
On the part of the federal government, Umar Aliyu (SAN) is already in court and he is expected to lead the prosecution team.
He was the prosecutor during the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu before an FCT High Court.
The CJN is yet to arrive at the CCT as at 9:48am. The tribunal is expected to start proceedings by 10am.
