The Army on Friday buried 14 soldiers, who died during a Boko Haram ambush on December 24, 2018.

However there were reports across various media platforms that the 14 soldiers, who were on escort duty were ambushed on their way back to Kaduna by the terrorists on Damaturu-Maiduguri road.
