An unidentified woman has been disgraced by angry mob after she allegedly stole a chicken to celebrate the new year, Igbere TV News reports.
IGBERE TV News gathered that the woman was stripped naked and paraded at Mkpor market after she was caught stealing a live chicken on Wednesday (yesterday).
The mob, it was learnt, tied the chicken round her neck and paraded her round the market place because no one offered to pay for the chicken.
Photos of an angry mob beating her up while she remained in tears unclad have since surfaced on social media.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their disappointment over what they described as “inhumane action” meted out on the lady.
