There was pandemonium at Gongono forest located in Tangaza Local Government Area, Sokoto state after the Nigerian Army and men of the Department of State Services’ (DSS) stormed the area.
Igbere TV gathered that the security operatives engaged the Malian Militia who were struggling to establish a training base for Hard-line extremists Ideology in the area .
Some extremists were killed in the process. .
It was also gathered that the jihadists flag which is their symbol of authority with Islamic inscription similar to that of Alshabab, was recovered during the raid.
