He urged Buhari to celebrate his birthday with soldiers of the Nigerian army fighting Boko Haram insurgents.

Omokri said this while making reference to the soldiers who were killed by Boko Haram insurgents a month ago.

Igbere TV  recalls that on 18th November, the Al Barnawi faction of Boko Haram attacked the 157 Task Force Battalion based at Metele in the northern part of Borno state, killing scores of the Nigerian troops.

The presidential Spokesman on his Twitter page wrote: “Today is President @MBuhari’s 76th birthday and I wish him a happy birthday.

“But I ask, is it coincidental that exactly a month ago, on November 17, 2018, Boko Haram killed 76 Nigerian soldiers? If I were Buhari, I would have celebrated my birthday with our troops.”

Meanwhile, the Presidency in celebration of Buhari at 76, highlighted some reasons President Muhammadu Buhari should be reelected in 2019.
