Three members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was released on bail by court sitting in Aba, Abia state. Pro Biafra activists detained in Aba Prisons since last year during the “Operation Python Dance” by the Nigerian military in the Southeastern Nigeria, regains their freedom.
IGBERE TV gathered that they were detained on the 12th Of September 2017 at Umuahia, charged for Terrorism, also attached with other frivolous charges and remanded in Aba Prisons.
According to Ibeh Gift Amarachi who is serving IPOB as a legal representative; “IPOB Leadership secured their Bail and perfection of Bail conditions made, hence their release”. She stated on her Facebook wall.
“The Leadership did not stop at securing their release, but accorded Ten Thousand Naira Transpor fare to each of the victims, as the House Rents of Zeruwa Kalu and Emeka Umelor was taken care of, a month before their release. In furtherance, their Bank Account details was taken, as demanded by IPOB Leadership, to fix their health and wellbeing”
The just released members of IPOB thanked their leadership for securing their release, despite the hard time in the struggle for Biafra restoration, pledged full support for IPOB and also promised to be resolute and formidable until Biafra is fully restored.
