Ahead of 2019 General Election, leaders of several women groups in Bende have unanimously endorsed the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Chima Anyaso and vowed to come out in mass and vote for him.
Speaking to Igbere TV, Ambassador J. O. Ejindu who was present during the event described Anyaso as a philanthropist who has a sacrificing spirit. He also noted that Anyaso has invested much towards human development.

“We, the good people of Bende have unanimously agreed to vote DR. Chima Anyaso , who is known for his philanthropical gestures, and who has been sacrificing his preference for overall interest of the people.”
“Anyaso is the only candidate who has invested much towards human development.”
“We need practical representation to meet the demand of the people because their expectation is high and have nothing to do with theory of debate that is mere status symbol without responsibility.” Ejindu said.
The leader of the women said they voluntarily decided to endorse Anyaso, noting that he has touched many lives.
She also said that their support for Anyaso is just getting started because they will everything possible to see that he gets to the national assembly.
