Former Military Governor of North Central State, Brigadier-General Abba Kyari, (rtd) has been confirmed dead.
President Muhammadu Buhari has also extended condolences of the former military general.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV by his senior special assistant media, Garba Shehu, and sent to the government and people of Kaduna, Katsina and Borno states on Sunday evening, Buhari said “we are extremely saddened by the news of General Abba Kyari’s passing away, an officer and a gentleman for whom we have a lot respect.”
He prayed to Allah to accept his soul, and grant fortitude to the family and friends he left behind to bear the loss.
