As 2019 General Election draws close, Chris Okey Ezike, a former Commissioner of Police in charge of Community Policing, Force headquarters in Abuja, has been deployed as the new Abia state commissioner of Police, Igbere TV has learned.
Igbere TV gathered that he replaced CP Anthony Ogbizi, who has been deployed as commissioner of police, in charge of Community Policing at Force headquarters, Abuja.
According to a release signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna and forwarded to Akelicious on Thursay, ” the new CP prior to his posting as the new Commissioner of Police to the State, was the Commissioner of Police in-charge Community Policing, Force Headquarters, Abuja”.
Igbere TV reports that the new CP assumed office with an assurance to improve on the existing peace and harmony which is being experienced by the residents of the state.
