The trio; Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate and Alh. Tunji Ajulo Opin, APC candidate for the Ekiti, Oke Ero, Isin and Irepodun constituency by-election, taking place on Saturday, 17th Nov 2018, escape an assassination attempt by gunmen at Oke Ero local government area of Kwara State on in the wee hours of today (Thursday).
No loss of lives has been recorded as at the time of filling this report.

IGBERE TV gathered that the gunmen came out from nowhere around 1am and opened fire on their convoy, while going on campaign to some local communities ahead of the Saturdays by election.
