Blood, Death And Horror As Heavy Armed Criminals Attack Nig Police Officers On Duty
It was a black Friday night as heavy Armed criminals attacked Policemen on “stop and search duty” and killed an officer as they carted away two rifles and a pistol.
The incident Reportedly happened at Kowen Plaza in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
It was learnt that other police officers on duty when the incident occurred also sustained serious machete wounds.
According to reports, the gunmen disarmed the policemen during the attacks and macheted them before they left the area after shooting sporadically.
Contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa confirmed the report.
CP Mustafa said, “It happened between 7-8pm. A policeman died during the attacks. They carted away two rifles and a pistol. The police are investigating the matter and I assure you that we will get to the root.”
