Nigeria’s deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt after an unidentified gunman invaded his residence. IGBERE TV can now report.
IGBERE TV learnt that one of the assailants where apprehended by security agencies and is yet to disclose his mission as at time of filling this report.

Confirming the incident , Mr Uche Anichukwu, special adviser on media to the Deputy President of the Senate told IGBERE TV correspondent that his principal escapes assassination attempt.
“The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, his wife, and son escaped an assassination attempt at about 4am on Tuesday. He stated.
