There was jubilation after a Nigerian striker, Mipo Odubeko, netted three times for Manchester United as their U16 team thrashed Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 at the weekend.
According to report, the youngster scored all the three goals in United’s demolition of Wolves.
The player has scored a lot of goals for the Red Devils youth teams in all levels and has been tipped to debut for the U18 team before the end of the 2018-19 season
He has featured for the U17s this season.
Odubeko has played for Republic of Ireland at U15 level and was part of their squad for the prestigious 2017 Victory Shield in Northern Ireland.
He has also netted a hat-trick in United’s 4-1 rout of Newcastle United in October.
He represented St Joseph’s Boys before joining Manchester United youth team.
