A local pastor at Masosa area in Nyamira count , Kenya , has raised concern over the increased number of women wearing miniskirts to the church.
Elvis Anyega on Saturday said he is in shock following the increased number of women wearing tight clothes to the House of God.
“It annoys me when I spot women coming to church wearing miniskirts, tight and short clothes. The women usually takes the front seats and this causes disturbance to the preachers not only me,” he said.
Mr Anyega has asked women to respect their bodies since they are God’s temple and dress well when going to church to listen to the word of God.
“Women wearing ‘skimpily’ will not get space in my church because I don’t advocate for prostitution. We must respect the word of God especially when at the church. There are clothes followers should wear which will not disturb men,” he said.
He assured that the church ushers will not be allowing women wearing miniskirts to ether the church.
The man of God urged parents to be good role models to their children especially daughters during this long December holiday.
