The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has swears – in the Chairmen, Secretaries and Members of the Visitation Panels sent to the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti; the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti; College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero Ekiti and that of the Fact Finding Committee sent to the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES) today charging them to maintain the confidence reposed in them by appointing them into the positions.
The Governor made the call this morning at the Banquet Hall of the Governor’s Office in Ado Ekiti during the swearing – in ceremony. He urge the members of the Panels to deploy their expertise, passion, excellence and experiences they have acquired while still in active service to serve the people of the State without compromise.
The Governor equally said: “the members of the Panels are made up of people who are experts, people who have passion for excellence, people who have excelled in their chosen careers. People we have put in those Panels will perform well in their capacities because they are people with so much experiences. People who have held several positions and succeeded. Ho told the Panels to find out the extent to which the previous outcome of the Visitation Panels has been adhered to”.
“The Panels are expected to look into the grey areas discovered by each of the Visitation Panels and Fact Finding Committee to help guide against some of the things currently being experienced in the Organizations. A timeline of 30 days period has been given to each of the Panels to submit their reports. The Governor also promised that the State Government will be responsible for all expenses regarding the stay and activities in the State because he knows that many of the Panels members are not resident within the State”.
The Governor thereafter administered the oath of Office for the new Chairmen, Secretaries and members of the various Panels earlier constituted by the Governor to enable them begin work in earnest.
Responding on behalf of all the Chairmen, Secretaries and Members of the Visitation Panels and Fact Find Committee, Professor Bode Asubiojo thanked Governor Kayode Fayemi for the honour done them and the privilege to serve the good people of Ekiti State given them.
