Teenage boys in Nairobi were paraded by their older ones on major roads in the city as they embarked on a mission of helping them raise money to under-go the cut.
The senior boys paraded the younger ones and begged motorists and other well wishers for money to help them achieve their mission.
“We are asking motorists and well-wishers to contribute towards this cause so that we can take our colleagues for the cut. We go round Nairobi major roads looking for the money that is required for it” said one of the senior boys.
The circumcision rituals according to Kenyans will certify the boys as real men in the society. See photos below as they beg for the money.
