BREAKING!!! OMPAN Inaugurates Ondo State Chapter at NUJ Centre Akure (Photos)

 

As the Association of online media Practitioners of Nigeria(OMPAN) keeps waxing stronger, new members are being accepted every day almost in all the states in Nigeria which leads to creation of new chapters.


On Saturday 8/9/2018, the Ondo state Chapter of the Association Of Online Media Practitioners Association Of Nigeria was inaugurated at the Ondo NUJ press Centre, Alagbaka, Akure.

Speaking during the inauguration, the South West Deputy National President of the Association, Mr Peter Jones Ailuorio, who sworn – in the newly executive members urged all and sundry to be a verifier of information before disseminating to the public. He also advised not to be bias while writing stories

In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman, Bisi Longe thanked the South- west Deputy National President, Mr Jones and promised that all members shall use their platforms to give credible information to the people of the state and device means of tracking dawn on quacks who may want to put the name of the Association in Mud.

The newly Executive Members include;

Kunle Ariyo – Vice Chairman
Temitope Adedeji – Secretary
Mary Agidi – Treasurer
Isreal Fagbemigun – Financial Secretary
Abiodun Tadese – Welfare
Richard Ilesanmi
