Cristiano Ronaldo has asked Juventus to provide him with more security details.
The Portugal captain has become a hit with fans, since he moved to Turin from Real Madrid this summer.
On the trip to Verona, Juve chiefs drew up special plans for Ronaldo’s safety, in what was his first match in Italian football.
Now, according to Corriere di Torino, Ronaldo has requested extra bodyguards for him and his family, amid concerns that his villa in the Gran Madre Park is too exposed.
It is claimed that Ronaldo has asked the Serie A champions to organise two extra security staff – one for his family and one to permanently keep an eye on his home – plus a third, personal bodyguard.
Juventus, who have won the last seven Italian league titles, have already surged to the top of the Serie A standings, with three wins from three this term.
