There was jubilation today after a philanthropist and APC Chieftain Barrister Benjamin Kalu picked his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at APC Headquarters Abuja.
Kalu was filled with joy while receiving his supporters who were singing, jubilating and waiting for him in front of APC headquarters. He assured them that by the grace of God, he will emerge as the party candidate.
“Today is a great day and I’m happy that all of you gathered here to celebrate with me for picking my nomination form. By God’s grace, we will win this race together”, he said
Speaking to newsmen after addressing his supporters, the Bende Federal Constituency aspirant also expressed optimism that he would emerge the flag bearer of the party at the general election slated to take place on February 2019.
In his words ;
“I’m not a career politician, I am just a Commoner Who nolstalgically Identifies with the pain and challenges of those who share the same sufferings I grew up with. For me the people’s mandate trumps ambitiion. I have no doubt members of my party APC Will vote massively for me during the primaries to fly the Party’s flag”, he concluded.
