Residents Shocked As Borehole Collapses 3 Weeks After Commissioning In Kogi (Photo)

Kogi residents have been left shocked after a borehole which was built and commissioned by the new direction team led by White Imenika, collapsed this morning at Ofejikpi area, three weeks after commissioning.

According to reports, 68% of the boreholes built by the new direction team are said to be non-functional again – few months/weeks after commissioning due to mechanical or electrical fault.

Facebook user, Enemama Sam Akubor, took to Facebook to share the report, as he wrote in parts;

My advice to kogites is simple,we should be extra careful when approaching any infrastructure build by the new direction team. Or preferably make use of alternative sources.

While other States are empowering and improving lives through infra structural and social facilities, ours in kogi the new direction government is endangering humans life and the environment via infrastructural and social facilities…
