Benjamin Kalu Hails Oshiomhole, Says APC Victory in Ekiti 'll be Replicated in All S'East & N'Delta States in 2019

Following the declaration of Dr. John Kayode Fayemi the winner of the Saturday gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state Barr. Benjamin Kalu has praised the national chairman of the party Adams Oshiomhole for the victory, describing it as a record of his first success.

In a release made available to Igbere TV , the Bende Federal Constituency House of Representative aspirant also described the Edo former governor as a goal getter, calling on him to deliver the nine Niger Delta states to the party come 2019.

“Our national chairman has registered his first success. We know him to be a goal getter. I am sure he will not lose any of the nine Niger Delta states. If any state is lost in the Niger Delta region, it means he has failed his immediate constituency” he said.

Barr. Benjamin Kalu also tasked the former NLC chairman on achieving a higher number of votes in the South East geopolitical zone for the party and the president in the 2019 elections. This is achievable if the party shows the kind of interest and commitment as seen in the last Ekiti elections . The party should approach and welcome most Opposition party members who are currently seeking for the membership of our party. Even those on the fence should be given a soft landing into our fold.
